Born as Susan Abigail Tomalin, Susan Sarandon began her career in the 1970 in the film Joe and appeared in the soap opera A World Apart in 1970-1971. Sarandon, who was born on 4 October 1946, has turned 68 this year and admits she had undergone plastic surgery to enhance her appearance so that she would be able to stay young like she is aging in reverse.
Sarandon, who won an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1995 in the film Dead Man Walking, said she is a fan of plastic surgery and would love to have it again for some times. Some of the procedures she has undergone are liposuction and breast augmentation. She said she wouldn’t get facial filler like Botox because she is so terrified of not being able to make facial movement. She said “I have these huge frown lines here (on my forehead). But if you can’t move your face or you’re unrecognizable, I don’t see how that’s a productive enhancement. You don’t want to look like a female impersonation of yourself.”
The liposuction has been done under her eyes and chin. And the breast augmentation was done to make her bra size look wonderful. These procedures are not going overboard, well-done, and give her a great appearance as a 68 year old.
She confessed that she tries to take a conservative approach to plastic surgery and embrace the joy of life. She is happy with the result and has no doubt to do it again in the future. “Every woman should do with her body whatever she desires to, but it is important to keep the essence of who you are.” She added, “I have nothing against people doing things that make them feel better about themselves, but at some point, you have to shift to really wondering what kind of person you are. I think empathy and generosity are very attractive qualities that make you a beautiful person, whether you are a man or a woman.” Who loves Susan Sarandon? I totally do!
